|  | Corinne West From the open meadows of California’s sierra mountains, Corinne West spins tales with a part velvet and part grit voice that is both achingly penetrating and highly addictive. Her music has a cool, layered, yet driven sound and has been referred to as "utterly spell-binding", "radiant", and "extraordinarily beautiful". Her writing runs a golden thread through country, bluegrass, western, Americana and folk, resulting in a style that is hers alone. Her debut UK tour in the spring of 2007 was so well received she came back twice in 2008! She’s already caught the ear of Bob Harris, who is a big fan and has played her CD on his show provoking tremendous listener response. She’ll be in the studio again in April 2009 recording a new CD building on the success of her critically acclaimed debut album Bound for the Living and the follow-up Second Sight and will be back in the UK accompanied by Canadian dobro player and multi-instrumentalist Doug Cox throughout 2009.
